About the Role

Volunteers are the backbone of the Strong Mind 5K. NAAMH is committed to creating a positive, organized, and supportive volunteer experience.
The Volunteer Coordinator manages volunteer communication, role assignments, and scheduling. This role helps match volunteers to appropriate positions, provides pre-event instructions, and serves as the primary point of contact for volunteers on race day. The coordinator assists with volunteer check-in, answers questions, and helps ensure coverage across all event areas.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and keeping teams organized.

Requirements

Experience & Requirements
  • No degree required

  • Prior experience managing volunteers, teams, or groups is helpful

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Comfortable answering questions and providing direction

  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment

Time Commitment:
  • Pre-event communication and coordination

  • Full availability on race day

About the Company

The National Association for Athletes’ Mental Health (NAAMH) is dedicated to supporting mental health awareness, education, and resources for athletes. The Strong Mind 5K is our inaugural in-person event, bringing the community together to move with purpose and support athlete well-being.
